摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous mobile robot guessing whether an obstacle responding to a distance sensor is a person, a wall, the other obstacle or the like, by use of only the distance sensor. SOLUTION: This autonomous mobile robot autonomously moving by performing driving control of a movement mechanism while recognizing the obstacle includes: the distance sensor 102 measuring a distance to the obstacle; a distance history evaluation part 204 evaluating a history of distance information measured by the distance sensor; and an obstacle inference part 208 inferring the obstacle based on an evaluation result by the distance history evaluation part and action of the robot.
