<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation processing device for remarkably increasing processing capacity more than conventional capacity, by simultaneously performing a plurality of plate material processing, by shortening a processing time, by surely performing separation processing of a cover sheet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this invention the next constitution is adapted for attain such a purpose. That is, a cover sheet separation device separates a cover sheet stuck to a surface of a plate material from the surface of the plate material together with a pressure sensitive adhesive tape. The cover sheet separation device has a plate material carrying means, a tape sticking means, a sheet winding means, a pressing means, a rocking means and a winding driving means, and is characterized by independently driving a plurality of carrying nip rolls for constituting the plate material carrying means.
