<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminated switch device for game machines which prevents easy lowering of the brightness, scarcely causes a trouble of a board part and capable of flexibly setting a distance from a light source of the board part to the back side of an operation button member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A casing (a switch case) 30 is formed with a through opening part 30F in its front face, a movable body 34, at its front part, is provided with a forward projecting portion 34C having a substantially similar cross-sectional shape with that of the through opening part 30F, being inserted into the through opening part 30F and penetrating the trough opening part 30F. Even if an operation applying or releasing a pushing pressure to/from an operation button member 14, or the operation button member 14 and the movable body 34 are moved in the front/rear direction, the light sources 38B and 38C and switch operation detection means 38D are configured to stay in a state sealed in a sealed space in the casing, and a lens 32 enlarging the illumination angle of the light emitted from the light sources 38B and 38C is provided.
