<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferroelectric liquid crystal panel in which a display defect is not caused due to a change in a temperature environment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the ferroelectric liquid crystal panel configured by filling ferroelectric liquid crystal between two substrates stuck to each other through a seal material having a liquid crystal injection port, when sealing the liquid crystal injection port, a gap with 0.25 to 1.0% of the volume of the filled ferroelectric liquid crystal is formed on the liquid crystal injection port.
