PRESCRIPTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING MOBILE DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A prescription management system using a mobile device and a method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of the pharmacy task by automatically checking the insurance information of a patient. CONSTITUTION: A prescription management system using a mobile device comprises a hospital server, and a prescription management server. The hospital server received a prescription issued from each doctor terminal, and stores and manages the data to the prescription DB. The prescription management server(300) comprises a preparation information production/administration module, a duplex/overdose monitor module, a warning module, and a transmitting/receiving module. The preparation information production/administration module(326) is able to input the preparation information by a pharmacist. The duplex/overdose monitor module(323) checks the drug redundantly prescribed to the patient. The warning module(325) generates the warning announcement by receiving the patient information prescribed. The transmitting/receiving module(327) transmits the received warning announcement of the warning module to the mobile terminal of the corresponding patient. The transmitting/receiving module transmits the preparation information generated by the preparation information production/administration module to the mobile terminal.
