<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently specify a device in a short time which causes quality degradation on a network. <P>SOLUTION: An IP address including a hierarchical identifier for identifying a hierarchy in an IP address space hierarchized is attached to each of a plurality of information terminals and a plurality of relay devices. The plurality of information terminals and the plurality of relay devices are joined by a structure following a hierarchical structure of the hierarchical identifier. An information server is connected to a relay device in a highest hierarchy in the hierarchical structure of the hierarchical identifier. The information terminals transmit packets having the IP address of the information server device as a communication destination. The information server device stores relay device identification information for identifying each of the plurality of relay devices in association with hierarchy identifiers included in the IP addresses attached to the relay devices, receives a packet relayed via the relay devices and transmitted, and reads relay device identification information associated with the hierarchy identifier included in a transmitter IP address of the received packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
