PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately record and inspect a test pattern without decreasing the productivity of an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: The device include: a conveyor 3 which conveys a recording medium 20; and a support conveyor 5 conveyed and controlled independently of the conveyor 3. An inspecting recording medium 10 is supported and fixed on the support conveyor 5 in advance. While the support conveyor 5 is driven at the same conveying speed as the conveyor 3 and the inspecting recording medium 10 is conveyed at the same speed as the recording medium 20, a test pattern is recorded with a recording head 1.
