<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in image elimination ratio due to a change of external environment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A receiver includes: a first phase shifter for shifting a phase of a local oscillation signal by 90 degrees and outputting it; a first adjustment circuit for adjusting and outputting an amplitude and a phase of an output of the first phase shifter; a second adjustment circuit for adjusting and outputting an amplitude and a phase of the local oscillation signal; a first mixer for multiplexing an input signal and an output of the first adjustment circuit to be output; a second phase shifter for shifting a phase of the output of the first mixer by 90 degrees and outputting it; a second mixer for multiplexing the input signal and the output of the second adjustment circuit to be output; an adder for adding an output of the second phase shifter and the output of the second mixer; and a subtractor for obtaining a difference between the output of the second phase shifter and the output of the second mixer to be output. The first adjustment circuit and the second adjustment circuit adjust the output of the first phase shifter and the local oscillation signal to reduce the output of the subtractor.
