<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material which does not cause cracking on an inner part of a large-size molded article even when molded by an injection molding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The thermosetting molding material is a composite material obtained by dispersing a hardener, flake graphite and amorphous graphite into a resin component that is a condensed polycyclic polynuclear aromatic resin (I) having a basic structure in which an aromatic ring including a condensed polycyclic polynuclear aromatic ring is connected by cross-linking via a methylene chain or a phenol type resin (II) composed of repeated units obtained by connecting a xylylene component (B) represented by formula (1), phenylmethin component (C) represented by formula (2) and a methylene component (D) represented by formula (3) to a phenol component (A) derived from a phenol compound, wherein the flake graphite and amorphous graphite are contained by 30 to 200 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of resin, and a weight ratio of flake graphite/amorphous graphite is 0/10 to 9/1.
