PURPOSE: A cooling element for an electric machine is provided to improve heat transmission efficiency by coating a thermal conductive paste on an outer surface of the stator and the bottom surface of the cooling element. CONSTITUTION: An electric machine(25) includes a rotor and a stator. An outer surface(14) of the stator is divided in the same sections(22b) as the length(L) of the stator. The cooling element includes at least two modules(2). The module includes adjacent pipes(3a). The adjacent pipes are parallel to a longitudinal axis of the stator. The ends of adjacent pipes are connected by connection units(4a). The refrigerant flows in adjacent pipes to the opposite direction. The width of the module is smaller than the width of the section of the stator.
