<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an arrangement that outputs a proper fault signal while discriminating a high-voltage fault of a coolant circuit from an fault generated in a power feeder in the power feeder for feeding power to a compressor of a freezer. <P>SOLUTION: When a fault is detected in an inverter circuit (3), a fault cause decision section (33) in a microcomputer (30) for inverter decides whether the cause of the fault is caused by interruption operation of a relay (18) in the inverter circuit (3) due to a high-voltage fault in the coolant circuit or caused by an fault generated in the inverter circuit (3). The fault cause decision section (33) is configured so that the decision of the fault generated in the inverter circuit (3) is delayed during a predetermined time (T) enabling decision of the high-voltage fault and if it decided that the fault is not caused by the high-voltage fault during the predetermined time (T), the fault is decided as an fault generated in the inverter circuit (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
