<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device used for selective disruption of fatty tissue by controlled cooling. <P>SOLUTION: A treatment system 100 comprises a control device 105 and a treatment unit 107. The treatment unit 107 includes a cooling/heating element 110 and a treatment interface 115 for performing treatment of epidermis 160, dermis 165, and fatty tissue 170, and a detector 120 for monitoring temperature. The detector 120 feeds back temperature information from the epidermis 160, the dermis 165, and/or the fatty tissue 170 to keep the optimum treatment temperature of target fatty tissue 170 without causing injury to the epidermis 160 and the dermis 165 in the circumference by the control device 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
