<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which has improved display performance stability by capturing iodine from a polarizer by neighboring viscid and adhesive layers in such a form that display performance is not affected. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device, two polarizing plates are disposed on both sides of a liquid crystal cell through viscid layers, and the polarizing plates include adhesive layers, and one of the viscid layers and the adhesive layers contains a straight chain α-glucose polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
