<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for manufacturing carbon nanocoils, capable of manufacturing the carbon nanocoils of excellent quality at a high yield. <P>SOLUTION: On the surface of a ceramic fine particle 1, a coat 2 composed of the mixture of an iron oxide or iron hydroxide and a tin oxide is formed. The thickness of the coat 2 is turned to be 300 nm or more, and the element ratio of iron and tin in the coat 2 is turned to be within the range of 1:1 to 6:1. The thickness of the coat 2 is preferably 1,000 nm or more and the element ratio of the iron and the tin is most preferably 3:1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
