<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating arsenic contained intermetallic product in non-ferrous smelting, especially a method that in the treatment of the arsenic having a diarsenic trioxide form, satisfies a leaching standard (according to Notice No13 from the Environmental Agency), realizing excellent filtration performance, and easy formation of stable scorodite at high reproducibility without any troublesome operation. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating the diarsenic trioxide includes: a leaching step of adding water and alkali to the non-ferrous smelting intermediate product containing the diarsenic trioxide to obtain a slurry and heating this slurry to thereby leach arsenic; a liquid regulation step of adding the oxidizing agent to the leaching solution so as to thereby oxidize trivalent-arsenic to pentavalent oxidize, thereby obtaining a regulated liquid; and a crystallizing step of converting the arsenic of the regulated solution to a scorodite crystal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
