LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT, AND LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high luminous efficiency light emitting element using a phosphorescent organometallic complex and a low-power-consumption light emitting device using the light emitting element.

SOLUTION: The light emitting element contains the organometallic complex having the structure expressed by formula (15). In the formula (15), R2is an aryl group, each of R3to R7and R9to R13is any one of hydrogen, a halogen atom, an acyl group, an alkyl group, an alkoxyl group, an aryl group, a cyano group and a heterocyclic ring residue, and M is one of an element of Group 9 and an element of Group 10.
