<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine for reducing power consumption by making coolant leaking from a solenoid valve closed during the pause of a heating operation flow to an evaporator without making it stay in a heating heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: This vending machine is provided with a plurality of merchandise cabinets 40a and 40b for cooling and heating, and a cooling circulation circuit 81 is configured of a compressor 61, a condenser 62, an expanding means 63, a distributor 64, a plurality of evaporators 65a, 65b, and 65c and a merging unit 73, and a heating/cooling circulation circuit 82 is configured of a compressor, heating heat exchangers 66a and 66b, an electronic expansion valve 79, a distributor, an evaporator, and a merging unit, and a coolant flow rate adjusting means (resistors 72a, 72b, 72c) is installed between the distributor and the merging unit.
