<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club wherein a loss of a ball flight distance is eliminated by suppressing increase in the spin amount of a ball even when a horizontal setback amount from a shaft axial line at the connecting portion of a shaft and a club head to the centroid position of the club head is large, and to provide a manufacturing method for the golf club. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of the horizontal setback amount GR from the shaft axial line 2a at the connecting portion of the shaft 2 and the club head 3 to the centroid position G of the club head, a real loft angle R of the club head 3 is set.
