<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a counter weight by further saving space in arranging a cable type change device. <P>SOLUTION: An arrangement structure for the cable type change device is provided with; a control shaft 3 changing gear by turning and moving in an axial direction in a transmission case 5; an outer lever 40 fixed to a control shaft at a transmission case outside, connected to a change lever by a cable, and turned by shift direction operation of the change lever; and a counter weight 20 turning with interlocking with rotation action of the control shaft. A storage part 8 capable of storing a part of the counter weight is provided on a front side frame 7 extending in a fore-and-aft direction at right and left sides of a vehicle body front part.
