<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a liquid drop ejecting device by enhancing arrangement density of a head unit. <P>SOLUTION: A line type inkjet printer includes a line type inkjet head 3 constituted by supporting a plurality of head units 2 that are arranged in two rows along a main scanning direction in a staggered configuration by a housing 6. The head unit 2 includes a flow path unit having an ink flow path formed, a piezoelectric actuator ejecting ink from nozzles in the flow path unit, and a reinforcement plate 80 for reinforcing the flow path unit. In the reinforcement plate 80, a smaller-width portion 87 and a larger-width portion 88 are disposed in an arranged state along the main scanning direction, such that a conveying-direction end face of the smaller-width portion 87 of the reinforcement plate 80 in the head unit 2 comes into contact with a conveying-direction end face of a reinforcement plate 80 in the head unit 2 in the adjacent row. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
