[Class 61 (i).] A handle for use with saw blades, scrapers, and like tools having flat shanks, is provided at one or both ends with a V-shaped slot adapted to receive the correspondingly shaped end of the tool and to be clamped in inclined relation thereto by a screw-threaded member. A handle a, Fig. 1, having a V-slot c carries a saw d which is especially useful for undercutting the micas of commutators ; a clamping screw e, Fig. 2, threaded through the handle engages a hole in the tool and secures it in the slot. |
