CYCLIZED ISOPRENE POLYMER, ALICYCLIC POLYMER AND OPTICAL RESIN

Disclosed is a cyclized isoprene polymer which is obtained by cyclizing an isoprene polymer containing a structural unit represented by general formula (1) in an amount of not less than 60% by mole relative to the total repeating structural units. Also disclosed are an alicyclic polymer obtained by hydrogenating not less than 50% of the carbon-carbon double bonds of the cyclized isoprene polymer, and an optical resin composed of the cyclized isoprene polymer and the alicyclic polymer. (In general formula (1), R1 represents an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms.)
