PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for fetching map data using multiple region-tree are provided to minimize the query processing time, and capable of taking out map data more efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A method and an apparatus for fetching map data using multiple region-tree comprise a region tree generating unit, and a map output unit. The region tree generating unit(910) produces the region tree which has different division depending on the level. The map output unit(930) draws out map data including a predetermined query region using the generated level region tree. |
