PURPOSE: A bush type height sensor assembly which is mounted on a link of a suspension in a vehicle is provided to automatically generate a vehicle height change signal according to the displacement of a suspension. CONSTITUTION: A bush type height sensor assembly(1) includes a mounting bracket, a magnetic force sensing module, a sensor, an ECU, and a shock absorber. The mounting bracket(2) includes a side flange fixed by a bolt connecting a bush of a control arm(C), and is attached to one side of a bush coupling end(SB) protruded from a sub frame(S). The magnetic force sensing module(7) is assembled by a mounting clip(8) inserted in the mounting bracket, and generates a signal according to changes of magnetic field. The sensor is equipped with a magnet for varying the magnetic field sensed by the magnetic force sensing module when the height of the control arm to the sub frame changes. The ECU generates a control signal to regulate the vehicle height change using the magnetic field change inputted from the magnetic force sensing module. The shock absorber is mounted between the knuckle and the sub frame to control the vehicle height according to the control signal form the ECU. |
