<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional evaluation device for the braille block position information of a braille block guide system for the visually impaired. <P>SOLUTION: The functional evaluation device for the braille block position information system for the visually impaired includes a first buried IC tag 11 where information is stored beforehand, second buried IC tags 12 to 15 with the information stored in them beforehand that are arranged in the four directions around the first buried IC tag 11 as the center, a tag reader and a transmitter to read and transmit the information stored in the first and second buried IC tags 11 to 15, as well as guide shoes 1 for the visually impaired to measure the distances between the first IC tag 11 and the second IC tags 12 to 15, and a portable terminal device 4 as a voice output means carried by the visually impaired to output the information acquired by the guide shoes 1 through the tag reader as voice information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
