<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fast operation setting by preventing an erroneous operation caused by static electricity or electromagnetic noise applied from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device includes: laser light sources LD1 to LD3 for emitting laser lights to be applied to an optical disk; an automatic power control circuit 24 for controlling a laser output of the laser light sources LD1 to LD3; and a control processing unit 10 for performing a setting data transmission process for the automatic power control circuit 24. The automatic power control circuit 24 includes an operation setting units 24C to 24E for performing an operation setting according to setting data obtained in the setting data transmission process of the control processing unit 10, and a condition determination unit 24B for determining whether an operation setting permission condition containing the number of clocks during a transmission period of the setting data is adequate, and inhibiting the operation setting of the operation setting units 24C to 2E when the operation setting permission condition is not adequate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
