<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a piezoelectric vibrator by which an electrode is formed with precision on the surface of a piezoelectric body. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises a step in which the piezoelectric body is arranged between a first mask, comprising an opening corresponding to an electrode on one main surface of the piezoelectric body and a projection for positioning the piezoelectric body, and a second mask, comprising an opening corresponding to an electrode on the other main surface of the piezoelectric body and a projection for positioning the piezoelectric body. It also comprises a step in which the first mask and the second mask are moved relatively to each other to cause the outside edge of the piezoelectric body to abut with the projections of the first mask and the second mask so that the openings of the first mask and the second mask are aligned with the piezoelectric body, and a step of forming an electrode on the piezoelectric body while it is aligned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
