<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device and a coating method capable of uniformly sticking a predetermined amount of coating material without any web, bridge, crack, peeling or unevenness of the coating thickness on the surface of a medical device. <P>SOLUTION: A stent W is formed with space sections O between linear struts S extending continuously. A holder 10 where the stent W is inserted/retracted, is rotated to push out the coating material C from a cylinder section 35 of a dispenser 33 that stores the coating material C including therapeutic substances, to the surface of strut S by a piston section 36 so as to uniformly apply the coating material C with the predetermined amount of therapeutic substances. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
