<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record an accurate beat position by analyzing an audio data in an electronic musical device. <P>SOLUTION: The device is operated by control of a CPU 1. A music piece data stored in a storage device 11 is selected. An audio data of a music piece data is reproduced, while click sound is generated by a beat signal of a beat signal track of the music piece data. Timing of tap input which is input from a tap operator 6 by a user is detected. The audio data in a section near a tap input position is analyzed and an access point is extracted, and candidates of the beat position are calculated. The beat position is specified from the candidates by adding the timing of the tap input. The beat position is specified in a part of section of the audio data. Based on the beat position, a beat position in a section other than that section is specified.
