<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker for detecting whether a connected state between a first metal fitting provided in an electric path in a single-phase three wire system and a second metal fitting connected to the first metal fitting, and for generating a power supply voltage for the circuit breaker, even when phase interruption is caused in the electric path in the single-phase three wire system. <P>SOLUTION: This circuit breaker includes a detection circuit 10 to detect the connected state between the first metal fitting and the second metal fitting based on a potential difference generated between the first metal fitting and the second metal fitting, and a voltage generating circuit 70 to generate a power supply voltage VDD supplied to the detection circuit in accordance with a voltage supplied to the load side of a switch 5 housed in a circuit breaker 1 by the single-phase three wire system, and the voltage generating circuit generates the power supply voltage in accordance with a voltage supplied from two voltage lines L1, L2 and a neutral line N in the electric path in the single-phase three wire system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
