PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET/MRI integrated type device capable of obtaining high quality composite images. SOLUTION: The PET/MRI integrated type device 10 is provided with an MRI unit 12 and a PET unit 14. The MRI unit 12 includes a pair of planar yokes 18a and 18b arranged facing each other through a gap G, a pair of permanent magnets 20a and 20b provided on the pair of planar yokes 18a and 18b so as to face each other, and a support yoke 22 for magnetically coupling the planar yokes 18a and 18b. The PET unit 14 includes a radiation detection part 32 provided with a scintillator 42, a light guide part 34 provided with a light guide 50, and a photodetection part 36 provided with a PSPMT 54. The PSPMT 54 is disposed in a housing space S3 in a shield case 52 provided on the other main surface 22b of the support yoke 22.
