METHOD OF DISPOSING REFUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy recovering efficiency, and avoid a trouble of the gas purifying process caused by the tar content.

SOLUTION: The method of disposing refuse includes: the thermal decomposition process for obtaining a thermal decomposition gas (b) and a residue (c) from a refuse (a); the gas reforming process for reforming a higher hydrocarbon to a lower hydrocarbon under a heated condition by adding an oxidant (d) and steam (e) to the thermal decomposition gas (b); the heat recovering process for recovering thermal energy from the reformed gas (f) obtained by the gas reforming process; the dust removing process for collecting a soot (h) in the reformed gas (f); the desalting process for removing hydrogen chloride gas in the reformed gas (f); the sorting process for pulverizing a carbonized material (g) in the residue (c); the melt-gasification process for melt-gasifying the pulverized carbonized material (g) and the soot of the dust removing process; and the cooling process for cooling an exhausted gas (j) and feeding it to the desalting process. The temperature at the inlet side of the dust removing process is held at 500-600°C while feeding a part of the carbonized material (g) pulverized in the sorting process to the inlet side of the dust removing process.
