<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the license management of software installable to a device. <P>SOLUTION: In a software license management system, a terminal device 20 capable of installing software is provided with a management unit 210 for managing device identification information, storage units 216, 218 for storing a valid license and an invalid license, and an uninstallation certification generation unit 214 for generating uninstallation certification when software is uninstalled from a terminal device. A license management apparatus 10 is provided with a license information database 114, a generation unit 110 for generating a new license enabling the installation of software based on device identification information or on the device identification information and a license to be invalidated when the uninstallation certification is determined as being valid, and a license information database 114 for storing a new license as a valid license. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
