PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective circuit board capable of reducing the distance between the protective circuit board and a bare cell, and increasing capacity; and a battery pack equipped with the same. SOLUTION: This protective circuit board 200 includes: a printed circuit board 210; and a safety element and an external connection terminal 270 which are mounted on the printed circuit board 210. In the protective circuit board, the printed circuit board 210 includes a first region and a second region having steps with respect to each other; and the safety element is mounted in a region having a small thickness out of the first region and the second region.
