PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor device capable of eliminating sliding of a belt, with a hydraulic pump for respectively supplying pressure oil to two hydraulic motors for driving a pulley for driving a carrier belt. SOLUTION: This tandem driving type belt conveyor device can operate tension on the carrier belt 6 by a tension pulley driven in a tandem by two driving pulleys 3 and 4 and operated by a hydraulic cylinder 32 for tension, and includes the hydraulic motors 11 and 12 for respectively rotating the respective driving pulleys, the two hydraulic pumps 15 and 16 separately connected to the respective hydraulic motors via hydraulic pipes 13 and 14, pressure sensors 18 and 19 for detecting pressure in the respective hydraulic pipes, and a control device 20 for controlling the hydraulic pumps and the hydraulic cylinder. This control device includes a hydraulic pump control part for controlling a delivery quantity of the respective hydraulic pumps so that both become equal by inputting detection pressure detected by both pressure sensors.
