PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin capable of firmly retaining an information member disposed in the bobbin. SOLUTION: The bobbin capable of housing the information member 3 having attribute information includes a bobbin body 1 formed to have a tubular shape in which at least part of it is hollow and an elastically-deformable cover member attached to one end portion of the bobbin body 1. A supporting portion 12 supporting the information member 3 is formed in the bobbin body 1. The information member 3 can be disposed between the supporting portion 12 and the cover member. The cover member includes a base portion 21, which is housed in the bobbin body 1 and covers the one end portion thereof, and a peripheral portion 22 extending from a periphery of the base portion 21 in an axial direction.
