PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optimal cleaning in accordance with the dirt by determining a quality of dirt of dishes housed. SOLUTION: A plurality of turbidity detecting means 30 are installed between a cleaning pump 17 and a cleaning nozzle 15. The turbidity detecting means 30 are optical sensors and comprise light emitting elements and light receiving elements installed at an opposite position across a tube channel. As the light emitting elements, an infrared LED, a red, a green, and a blue LED are used, for example, whereas photodiode (PD) is used as the light receiving elements, and different wavelengths of the light emitting elements are used. A positioning between the light emitting elements and the light receiving elements is such that the light emitting elements are opposed to the light receiving elements, and the optical axes are installed so that they are in almost the same direction as a horizontal surface of cleaning water stored in a cleaning tank, respectively.
