PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board unit and a game machine, which can delay the time of the arrival of game media at an inflow port of an inflow unit independent from a complicated control means by reducing the downflow velocity of the game media with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The game board unit includes: the inflow unit 8 which has the inflow port for the inflow of the game media flowing down through the playfield and an operation member for achieving a state of hindering the inflow of the game media to the inflow port and a state of facilitating the inflow of them; and a downflow delay member 38 which reduces the downflow velocity of the game media 23 flowing down through the playfield. Thus, contacting the game media 23 with the reduced downflow velocity, the game media 40 subsequently flowing down through the playfield make the game media 23 flow down to the inflow port 8a of the inflow unit 8, while increasing the downflow velocity of the game media 23, the velocity being reduced by the downflow delay member 38.
