<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax vibration stress acting on the roots of coil leads even when a coil is subjected to a vanish process and the coil leads are used as terminals. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this coil component, a choke coil 11 is provided with a bobbin 12 having a tubular body part 16 with a coil 15 wound around it, and a core inserted in the body part 16, and a vanish treatment is applied to the coil 15. The bobbin 12 is provided with restriction wall parts 18 and 21 restricting a range in which the coil 15 is wound, and an extraction part 33 for extracting terminals of the coil 15 from the bobbin 12. First and second coil leads 34 and 35 extracted from the extraction part 33 are used as terminals of the choke coil 11. On the restriction wall parts 18 and 21, a groove 39 extending toward the body part 16 from the extraction part 33, and forming a space between the extraction part 33 and the first and second coil leads 34 and 35 is formed.
