<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the air supplied indoors without passing through an air cleaning filter with a simple constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit includes a housing 5 housing an indoor blower 7 and an indoor heat exchanger, and an opening 31 where a discharge port 11 led into the housing 5, and refrigerant piping 3 are inserted through is formed in the housing 5. A piping cover 13 is disposed between the refrigerant piping 3 and the discharge port 11 in a state of covering the refrigerant piping 3 and the discharge port 11 for preventing the air outside of the housing 5 from flowing into the indoor blower 7 from the opening 31 and a clearance between the refrigerant piping 3 and the discharge port 11.
