<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a flowing water detection device for a fire extinguisher by eliminating moving parts such as a valve body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flowing water detection device provided in piping of the fire extinguisher detects the flowing water of the fire extinguisher agent in the piping while detecting the flowing water by pressure difference. A body 10 of the flowing water detection device is provided with a narrow channel 14a, the internal diameter of which became narrow and a wide channel 14b in a part of a flow path 13. Each flow path of 14a, 14b is connected with a differential pressure switch 20 through connection piping 16. The differential pressure switch 20 is composed of a magnet 21 and a proximity switch 22 which works by the magnet getting closer to the same. The magnet 21 moves in a flowing path 24 for detecting the differential pressure, the proximity switch is provided connecting to the flowing path for detecting the differential pressure through an insulation member.
