PURPOSE: An LED unit for a tail light of vehicle is provided to reduce the light loss irradiated from the LED using a reflector arranged at the lateral side of LED. CONSTITUTION: An LED unit(10) for a tail light of vehicle comprises a lead frame(22), a luminous body(21), and a lens(23). The luminous body of LED is comprised to be projected upwardly from the upper surface of edge of the lead frame. The LED has both the front directivity angle(A) and the lateral directivity angle(B). A light reflective reflector(30) is included as the lateral part circumference of LED. The light reflective reflector reflects the light corresponding to the lateral directivity angle to the front.
