<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated body having a high surface strength, and a thermal recording material having a high surface strength and a good coloring sensitivity, and good head scum inhibiting property. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated body has an undercoating layer containing an organic pigment and borax, and a topcoating layer containing polyvinyl alcohol, in this order, on a support body. The thermal recording material has, on the support body, an undercoating layer containing an organic pigment and borax, and the topcoating layer containing an electron-donating pigment precursor, an electron-accepting coloring agent, and polyvinyl alcohol, in this order. In the thermal recording material, the organic pigment is a non-foaming organic hollow pigment, ant the thermal recording material includes the topcoating layer containing 3 to 40 mass% of the topcoating layer containing the electron-accepting coloring agent, the electron-donating pigment precursor, and an oil-absorbing inorganic pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
