ENERGY SAVING SUPPORT SYSTEM AND ENERGY SAVING SUPPORT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving support system to urge energy saving to an inhabitant in an easier way to implement.

SOLUTION: This system is provided with: an input section 21 in which total power consumption information and identification information for identifying individual electric appliances are inputted; a first correlation computing section 23 which computes a correlation value between changes of total power consumption within a predetermined period and changes of total power consumption which an ideal pattern shows; a second correlation computing section 24 which computes correlation values between changes of total power consumption within a predetermined period and changes of total power consumption which each increase energy pattern shows, respectively; and an output section 27 which outputs advice information for reducing the power consumption of each individual electric device based on the correlation value computed by the second correlation computing section 24 when the correlation value computed by the first correlation computing section 23 is not larger than a first threshold, and the correlation value computed by the second correlation computing section 24 is not larger than a second threshold.
