<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cuff device featuring short pressurizing time and ease of handling; and a miniaturized and lightweight sphygmomanometer equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cuff device for blood pressure measurement has an air bag 10 stored in a tubular shape on the inner side of a chassis 20, and inhibits blood flow in a region for measurement by introducing pressurizing air into the air bag. The cuff device has a tubular cloth cover 30 to cover the inner surface of the air bag.
