<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input system, a pointing device, and a program for controlling the input system to be used for inputting data at a position specified on a virtual absolute coordinate set on a display screen of a display apparatus without preparing additional hardware configuration or components such as a tablet, frame, or a pressure-sensitive sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The input system 1 includes a display apparatus 20 for image display; a pointing device 30 for pointing a specific position on a display screen; and a control section 10 for controlling the display apparatus 20 and the pointing device 30, and inputs data by using the pointing device 30 for pointing a position on the screen of the display apparatus 20. The control section 10 generates a light emitting patten having an absolute coordinate and causes the display apparatus 20 to display it. The pointing device 30 is equipped with an imaging section for imaging a code block of a part of the light emitting pattern having the absolute coordinate and being displayed on the screen of the display apparatus 20, and obtains a position of the absolute coordinate converted on the basis of the light emitting pattern having the absolute coordinate imaged by the imaging section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
