PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key illumination switch module capable of uniformly illuminating the whole of a surface with keys arranged thereon, and excelling in a click feeling in key operation. SOLUTION: An adhesive layer 17 is formed on the back face of a cover sheet 14. Top parts of dome-like contact springs 13 are stuck to the back face of the cover sheet 14 by the adhesive layer 17. A printed wiring board 12 is provided with first fixed contacts 16a and second fixed contacts 16b each switchable to a conduction state or an insulation state by the contact spring 13. In addition, a light guide sheet 15 is arranged on the front surface side of the cover sheet 14. On the light guide sheet 15, slits 18 (through-holes) each formed into a crisscross shape by slit processing are formed at positions corresponding to the top parts of the contact springs 13.
