PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can eliminate impartiality felt among players by offering a remedy for long continuation of a normal game state even for players who cannot borrow a substantial number of game balls before the shift to the jackpot game state, and to provide a game medium dispensing unit. SOLUTION: An insurance plan which offers a prescribed remedy by the collection of a prescribed number of game balls is set when the shift to the jackpot game state is not achieved even after the frequency of the variation of special symbols exceeds a prescribed value.
