POLYESTER MONOFILAMENT AND INDUSTRIAL FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester monofilament and an industrial fabric using the polyester monofilament which has good flexion fatigue resistance and abrasion resistance as well as high Young's module and dimension stability and is desirable for a constituent material of the industrial fabric. SOLUTION: The polyester monofilament which is composed of a resin composition that contains (C) 0.5-20 weight part of a silicone-based chemical compound against 100 weight part of a polyester mixture composed of (A) 70-99 wt.% by weight of polyethylene naphthalate element and (B) 30-1 wt.% by weight of polyethylene terephthalate.
