PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing device that can prevent defective formation of images by surely mounting conveyed stencil paper on a plate cylinder. SOLUTION: The stencil printing device includes: stencil paper 5 engraved in a platemaking section 3; a conveying means 9 having a master conveying roller 7 as a driving roller freely rotatable forward and backward and conveying the stencil paper 5 by the forward rotation of the master conveying roller 7; a plate cylinder 11 arranged in the downstream side of the conveying direction of the stencil paper 5 relative to the conveying means 9 and mounted with the stencil paper 5; a clamping means 15 having a main clamp plate 13 that, installed in the plate cylinder 11, holds the tip end side in the conveying direction of the stencil paper 5 conveyed by the conveying means 9 and that mounts the stencil paper 5 on the plate cylinder 11; and a holding means 17 that, installed in the clamping means 15, holds the stencil paper 5 conveyed by the conveying means 9, that allows the movement of the stencil paper 5 in the upstream side of the conveying direction by the backward rotation of the master conveying roller 7, and that imparts a tensile force to the stencil paper 5 between the conveying means 9 and the plate cylinder 11.
